This is the SECOND of a three-part journey of “Hear, See, and Do” is SEE. Diana shares her experience of going to an area in the 1040 window and meeting people who have never heard the Good News of Jesus.

She answers the question of “Why are people not going to these places?”. There are billions of people who are unreached and less than 10% of missionaries go to the places where they are needed the most. Missionaries don’t go to the 1040 window because it is hard!

When you are able to SEE these people and meet them, statistics become faces, and faces become names, and prayer becomes easier and more powerful for us.

It might not be possible for you to “see” for yourself, but it is possible for you to use your influence. We are all a part of the body of Christ. We all have a role to play. We hope you are able to take a trip overseas as some point, but more importantly we are called to love God and love others.

What is your calling?

As Christians, we are all called to most importantly love God and love others. We are also called to go and make disciples. This is your calling if you are a Christian. The difference is how you do these things. That is, the role you play in the body of Christ.

• Going - Traditional missionary role.

• Sending - Helping fund those who go or support those who go. (give to cafe 1040’s year-end campaign now!)

• Welcoming - Staying put, but intentionally seeking international relationships.

• Mobilizing - The heartbeat of Cafe 1040 - informing people of the reality of the world and helping them find their role.
