Written by a Cafe 1040 Student

This past week, my team had the opportunity to travel and spend a week trekking throughout the mountains to different minority villages in this country. We spent a lot of time with a tribe that has been radically touched by the Father. They are a village of believers, which is incredibly rare in this country. Their hearts for the Father and for His plan was so encouraging. It was an experience that was so different than anything I have seen in this country. What we have been dealing with is completely opposite than what we have seen in this village. It was incredibly inspiring to be around these people and to do life with them for a week.

I am astounded by what I have seen in this place... The beauty of the people and the beauty of the mountains... but most importantly the beauty of the Father's Kingdom. We had the opportunity to go to the villages underground House Church and it was the most incredible experience I've ever had. Sitting there and seeing the people of the village so devoted to Him, singing his name was the most beautiful thing I've ever experienced. It was an incredible picture of what Heaven will look like one day, as people from all nations and tribes will be standing around the throne, worshipping the Father together...

In a country where so much hope is lost and so many people are lost, I was reminded constantly of the Father's plan for redemption. I am just in awe of what He is doing in this place... For the movement of the Father's Spirit in this village and in these people. It was so uplifting getting to see the heart of our guides and the people throughout the village. A memory that will be stamped in my mind and heart forever.
