Job Description Overview

As the Grad Engagement Coordinator, your job is to maintain contact with our graduates after their completion of the post-field mentorship, participate on Partnership Committee, and document graduate stories and progression after initial graduate steps have been taken. You will work closely with Mobilizers as students transition from “post-field” to “alumni” status and take their recommended next best step. You will develop, evaluate, and maintain systems of keeping in touch with our alumni after they complete our program. You will be a resource for alumni and staff in the areas of continued mobilization, partner relationships, and available mobilization resources. You will also assist Mobilization Leadership Team with coordinating reoccurring annual events and any special projects.

  • A passionate follower of Jesus Christ with a proven devotion to the habits necessary to maintain a daily relationship with Him

  • Natural lean towards coaching and mobilization

  • Patient and understanding for the unique characteristics of our target audience

Specific Job Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain efficient and effective systems and methods for grad checking, as well as intentional graduate development and engagement

  • Develop and maintain creative ways to keep graduates engaged in the Great Commission after the program

  • Regularly communicate with our graduates about new opportunities for overseas and stateside involvement in the Great Commission Provide resources for our graduates as they seek to take steps towards long term work past our program

  • Develop and maintain resources and learning/training opportunities for staff and graduates relating to missions mobilization

  • Regularly collaborate across departments and teams to innovate mobilization strategies for our students and grads

  • Launch, oversee, and manage the GLT (Grad Leadership Team) program

  • Network among our partners and within our organization

  • Serve as the primary contact to graduates of our program after their recommended next best step is complete.

  • Support and uphold the policies, values, and statement of faith of Cafe 1040

  • Maintain sustainable funding levels for role through Cafe 1040 support-raising model

  • Actively take the opportunities to mobilize those people in the scope of your influence toward involvement and investment in the mission and vision of Cafe 1040
